We are looking for a Revenue & Reservations Manager for a 5* Hotel in Barcelona.
The Revenue & Reservation Manager is responsible for implementing hotel revenue management objectives, which encompasses maximizing revenues and profit through rate and inventory management of all market segments at the hotel.
The Revenue & Reservations Manager will take anactive role in the hotel`s pricing and distribution of inventory across various channels of distribution to maximize revenues and will also be part, an active leader, of the Reservatons team, managing a minimum of two team members.
The role analyses trends in the group and transient segments, exceeding budgeted goals and setting group ceilings, target rates in conjunction with the sales team and reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing at the property.
Analysis of distribution to detect and leverage opportunities to maximize property's net performance.
Ongoing focus on increasing GOPPAR, implementing a profit maximization strategy for the property´s sales outlets.
Pursuit of distribution and revenue objectives and KPIs set by management.
Relevant configuration of PMS, channel manager, and online distribution channels to ensure proper implementation of revenue and sales strategies (including, but not limited to, ratecodes and packages in the PMS, rates and availability in the channel manager, rates, and settings on OTAs and GDS, and the like).
To loads all preferred, consortia and promotional rates in GDS and PMS.
Active room price management, monitoring their correct distribution in PMS, channel manager, and online channels.
Tracking and controlling rate disparities, keeping them at minimal levels.
Optimization of distribution, business mix, and market share of online channels, as well as distribution cost optimization.
Development of the direct channel: increasing conversion rates on the official website and hotel booking engine, expanding market share. Ongoing communication with reservations, e-commerce, and marketing teams to enhance the efficiency of direct sales efforts.
Optimization of information, content, and descriptions on online distribution channels.
Demand and pricing calendar control.
Active involvement in budgeting and forecasting processes.
To participate and prepare rolling forecast and annual budget.
Continuous communication with the management team, report submissions.
To manage and maintain group and transient inventory controls, through our channel managers.
To be the head of the reservations department, looking after two team members and supporting their duties when needed.
Actively participate and collaborate in the e-Commerce strategy, attending and leading with the designated supplier contractor.
To prepare and attend monthly Business Reviews with property owners.
To complete other reasonable duties as requested by leadership, including participation in duty manager rotas.
Minimum two years of revenue & reservations management experience within the 5 stars portfolio.
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, economics, business administration or related.
Systems Proficiency with OTA insight, Demand 360, STR, Witbooking, MS Power BI, Ulysses Cloud, and MS Office Suite.
Effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments relating to a wide variety of tasks.
High degree of initiative and ability to work effectively in teams or independently.
Collaborative approach with peers at all levels of the organization.
Comfortable aggregating and interpreting data from a wide variety of sources.
