POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

The Regional Vice President Operations is responsible for the overall management and performance of assigned region and lead a team of District Managers to accomplish key strategic and financial objectives for the company. Objectives include: aligned with sales and revenue management, formulating and implementing the strategic plan that guides the direction of their region, in addition to meeting or exceeding financial performance objectives, market share performance, key guest satisfaction scores, human capital development/management and driving key metrics to meet targets and overall company objectives.

MAJOR OBJECTIVES AND KEY JOB DUTIES

Provide strategic direction and leadership to District Managers and hotel management in assigned region.
Ensure District Managers are driving Company initiatives, adhering to brand standards, and maintaining/improving operational standards and practices.
Guide District Managers to provide the best possible experience for our guests and associates in alignment with Company Values.
Guide development in human resource areas including: recruiting, training, coaching, succession plans and compensation planning.
Ongoing financial performance review to ensure budget goals are achieved through revenue generation and sound expense control to meet company flow-through targets. Ongoing review and accurate forecasting of revenue/expenses and action planning as needed.
Lead the Revenue Triangle (Operations, Sales, Revenue Management) for assigned region and providing guidance through action planning and result review, including active involvement in rate review, sales strategies and execution.
Maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, including customers, competition, new industry developments and similar business factors.

Requisitos

Overall management of capital needs for region and expenditures for optimal asset management.
Leadership of assigned region, including providing strategic direction to cross functions teams comprised of sales, revenue management, finance and human resources.
Modeling and promoting an inclusive, productive and positive work environment for large associate population and regional leadership team.
Aggressive oversight of safety/health standards. Limit and mitigate exposure to factors that could negatively impact brand reputation, including employee relations, risk management, loss prevention and security concerns.
Respond to highly escalated guest and associate concerns in a timely fashion to ensure appropriate steps are taken to resolve the concern.
Partner with facilities team to ensure that required maintenance and renovations are taking place to ensure physical assets of the company are kept clean, safe and up to date.
Develop and maintain values driven culture and a professional work environment. Lead by example and promote accessibility, transparency and strong guest experience focus.
Encourage and initiate ongoing "Care for the Community" effort within the region.
