At JCI Talent, we are seeking a Financial Controller for a fast-growing international restaurant group based in Madrid.
This is a strategic position with direct impact on business profitability, financial governance, and executive decision-making, working closely with both local management and the corporate headquarters.

●Role Mission:
To ensure the accuracy, reliability, and transparency of financial information and business performance control, guaranteeing compliance with corporate standards and local regulations, while providing management and headquarters with clear, actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
●Key Responsibilities:
Management Control & Reporting
Prepare and consolidate monthly financial reports for headquarters (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and key operational and financial KPIs).
Analyze budget variances, identify risks and opportunities, and propose action plans to improve profitability.
Design, maintain, and continuously improve financial and operational dashboards for senior management.
●Budgeting & Financial Planning:
Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.
Monitor and control costs by business unit, cost center, and revenue stream.
Support business growth and expansion strategies from a financial perspective.
●Accounting & Compliance:
Oversee general accounting in coordination with external advisors and/or the corporate finance team.
Ensure compliance with tax, accounting, and financial regulations.
Guarantee the correct application of group financial standards and internal controls.
●Payroll Control:
Supervise the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy in salary calculations, benefits, variable compensation, and statutory deductions.
Coordinate with external payroll providers and HR teams to guarantee timely and compliant payroll execution.
Review payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions when required.
Ensure full compliance with local labor, tax, and social security regulations related to payroll.

Requisitos
Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Financial Analyst, or in similar roles within international environments.
Strongly valued experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or multi-site operational businesses.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master’s degree in Finance, Controlling, or Audit will be considered a plus.
Advanced level of English (written and spoken).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools, ERP systems, and BI platforms.
Analytical, structured, and proactive profile with strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
