At JCI Talent, we are partnering with a fast-growing international restaurant group to recruit a Chief Financial Officer based in Madrid.

The position is designed for a senior finance leader with strong business acumen, analytical rigor, and proven experience in highly operational, international, multi-site environments.

Role Mission:

To define, lead, and execute the financial strategy of the group, ensuring financial robustness, profitability, and compliance, while providing clear, reliable, and actionable insights to support executive decision-making, business growth, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Executive Leadership
• Define and lead the group’s financial strategy, aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and Executive Committee.
• Assess and support expansion initiatives, including new openings, investments, and potential acquisitions.
• Lead relationships with corporate headquarters, shareholders, and key financial stakeholders.

Financial Control, Reporting & Performance Management
• Oversee and validate consolidated financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and operational KPIs).
• Drive profitability analysis by business unit and location.
• Ensure high-quality, timely, and transparent financial information.
• Develop and enhance management reporting systems, dashboards, and performance indicators.
• Ensure effective use and optimization of Oracle ERP for financial reporting, consolidation, and control.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor cost structures and margins, identifying efficiency and optimization opportunities.
• Define medium- and long-term financial planning scenarios.

Cash Flow, Treasury & Tax
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations.
• Supervise tax planning and ensure full compliance with local and international tax obligations.
• Optimize working capital and financial structure.

Accounting, Compliance & Governance
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
• Guarantee the correct application of group financial policies and corporate governance standards.
• Coordinate external auditors, tax advisors, and financial consultants.

Requisitos

• Proven experience as a CFO / Finance Director or in senior financial leadership roles with strong strategic exposure.
• Solid background in international environments, ideally within restaurant, retail, hospitality, or multi-site operational businesses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Master’s degree or MBA in Finance or General Management is highly valued.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (essential requirement).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial reporting tools, and BI platforms.
• Strategic, analytical, and results-oriented profile with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Immediate or short-term availability will be positively valued.
