We are recruiting a CLUSTER FINANCIAL CONTROLLER for two hotels located in Luxembourg, belonging to an international hotel chain.


Job Summary: As a leader for the Finance department, this position is responsible to ensure the achievement of the economic, quality, work satisfaction, people development and operational objectives of the two hotels through administrative actions, control and protection of hotel assets.

Main Tasks:
• Prepare and conduct monthly and yearly statements and inventories.
• Responsible for the oversight of balance sheets, income statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Monitoring the bank accounts and cash holding
• Review travel cost statements
• Analyze the monthly economic results obtained in order to determine the suitability of the balances and the correct allocation of income and expenses in the operating account
• Generate strategic information for the Hotel & Corporate Management
• Anticipating and Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholder
• Managing Projects and Policies
• Developing talent in the Financial Department

Ideal Profile
• University degree or similar, preferably in Business studies or hotel management
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller, Director of Finance or equivalent position
• Previous experience in hotel finance.
• Excellent command of English. Any other language (French, German, Spanish) would be an asset
• A structured independent, enthusiastic and assertive working style
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, as well as conceptual and analytical skills
• Organized & detail-orientated
• Established knowledge of SAP, Opera Cloud and Microsoft Office
• Ability to reason and communicate well
