From MC Headhunting we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join a new venture capital fund based in Barcelona.
Functions:
• Drive the company’s finance planning
• Compliance and relations with CNMV
• Management of financial statements
• Active role in the relationship with the portfolio companies
• Monitor the portfolio companies and give analytical support for follow-on investments
• Carry out and present the reporting of results to the different stakeholders
• Operational support in the fundraising process
• Lead and guarantee coverage of all payment commitments and financial risks of the company
• Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
• Monitor the spending budget and income
• Carry out the economic-financial, accounting and business evolution ratios analysis
• Direct the budget policy, its monitoring in the departments and take corrective actions when necessary
• Detecting and understanding key risk factors of the business model and building sensitivity analysis
Requisitos
• More than five years’ experience in corporate finance, ideally with focus in the Venture Capital Investment Industry (ideally, between 5-7 years of experience)
• Experience managing investor relations and developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
• MSc/MA in Business Administration or relevant field
• Fluent English
• Passion for the digital sector and analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
