Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Procurement Director to lead and oversee the procurement strategies and operations for a prestigious hotel company based in Madrid. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient procurement processes to ensure the timely supply of high-quality products and services that align with the company’s objectives. This role requires strategic vision, operational expertise, and strong leadership skills to manage procurement across multiple properties.

Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy Development:
Design and implement the company's procurement strategy to optimize costs, quality, and supplier performance.
Identify new opportunities for procurement savings and efficiency improvements across all hotel properties.
Conduct market analysis to identify new products and suppliers, ensuring alignment with company standards.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-efficiency.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with the company’s policies.
Evaluate supplier performance and manage risk through regular reviews and audits.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee the procurement processes across all hotel properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services, including F&B supplies, amenities, maintenance items, and capital expenditures.
Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
Develop and manage the annual procurement budget, ensuring alignment with corporate financial goals.
Monitor procurement expenditures, and provide regular reports on cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance.
Collaborate with finance and operations departments to optimize procurement-related financial performance.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Ensure the team is trained in procurement best practices and up-to-date with industry trends.
Set team goals and KPIs to measure performance and drive success.
Sustainability and Compliance:
Ensure that procurement practices align with sustainability goals, focusing on ethical sourcing and environmental responsibility.
Maintain compliance with local, national, and international procurement regulations.
Implement procurement policies that promote transparency, accountability, and fairness.
