We are looking for a SENIOR APPLICATION ENGINEER specialised in MES MOM with proven experience in MES solutions or platforms to design, develop, and implement SCADA and MES applications. In this role, you will work on the digitalization efforts of medium- and large-sized customers across various industries, including food & beverage, automotive, life sciences, and aerospace. This position combines expertise in software engineering, manufacturing operations, and customer engagement. While most of the development and testing activities take place off-site, you will occasionally travel to customer sites for deployment and implementation.

You will be responsible for, among other tasks,:
●Develop SCADA and MES solutions using Ignition and Sepasoft modules.
●Configure and deploy workflows, production models, and reporting tools.
●Develop dashboards, reports, and user interfaces using Ignition Perspective or Vision.
●Collaborate with clients to design and customize SCADA/MES solutions that align with their manufacturing processes.
●Integrate MES systems with existing enterprise solutions, such as ERPs.
●Interface with PLCs, OPC servers, and industrial communication protocols.
●Configure and manage SQL databases for historical data, alarms, and reporting purposes.
●Develop scripts and automation routines using Python
