Civil & Commercial Lawyer (5+ years) — Valencia (Hybrid)

A well-established law firm advising companies and entrepreneurs across Spain is hiring a Civil & Commercial Lawyer for its Valencia office. You will handle a varied portfolio covering commercial contracts, corporate operations, civil/commercial litigation, and transactional support, with direct exposure to international clients.

This role is ideal for a lawyer who combines technical excellence with strong client skills, enjoys ownership of matters end-to-end, and can operate confidently in a high-standard, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate civil and commercial agreements, including contracts in English.
Provide ongoing legal counsel to companies and founders on corporate, contractual, and compliance matters.
Manage corporate operations: share deals, capital increases, corporate books, and coordination with notaries and registries.
Review documentation and support M&A processes, including due diligence.
Lead civil and commercial litigation, such as debt recovery claims, eviction proceedings, and related matters.
Contribute to investment, financing, and growth transactions.
Produce high-level legal opinions to support strategic decision-making.
Act as a primary contact for national and international clients, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and business-oriented advice.

Requirements (Must-have)
Qualified lawyer admitted to the Bar in Spain.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil/commercial and corporate practice (law firm environment preferred).
English level C1 (spoken and written) — the interview will be conducted in English.
Proven courtroom/litigation experience.
Strong ability to track and allocate time by matter (time recording and matter management discipline).
Demonstrated capacity to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
